good on you for the try! I started feeding my baby with a nipple shield (thanks to my midwife...) it was really hard to wean my baby from the shield. I attempted with the bare boob many times, he cried every time and I cried even louder. I think it was at 5 weeks when he did the 'click', we haven't used the shield since then. I'm pumping again now so let's see if he takes the bottle again. Wish me luck! :-)
Mariana have u seen a LC? It does take a lot.for them to latch I was very surprised by how forceful I had to be when teaching her how to latch at the hospital....probably why she didn't latch properly bc I didn't want to force her to do it correctly bc she would pull away and cry, which is the norm. Anyways just a thought! I give u credit for trying again.
Every video and all moms make it look so easy...but its not at all, at first Anyways. It was much harder for me to bf than labor itself. So don't think ur doing anything wrong...those baby in videos clearly have been nursing for a while. O wish I was there to show u...bc there is a technique believe it or not.
